This Privacy Policy explains how Cozy Corner Interiors (ABN 87 433 513 549) collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the handling described below.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • fill in the contact form on this site
  • email or call us with a project enquiry
  • request a quote, in-home consult or booking for a custom joinery project

The information typically includes your name, email address, phone number, suburb, the type of project you’d like to discuss, and any details you choose to share about the space. We do not collect sensitive information (such as payment card details) on this website — payments are invoiced separately.

2. How we use your information

We use the personal information you provide to:

  • reply to your enquiry, usually within 1 business day
  • arrange a free in-home consult, prepare a fixed-price quote, and schedule work if you decide to go ahead
  • keep records of the work we’ve done for you so we can support the 5-year workmanship warranty on installed joinery
  • meet our legal and tax obligations (e.g. issuing tax invoices and keeping records for the Australian Taxation Office)

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your explicit opt-in.

3. How we store and protect your information

Enquiry form submissions are sent to our business email inbox via Resend (a third-party transactional email service hosted in the United States). Quote, invoice and contact records are stored in our Australian business systems with access restricted to the people working on your project. We retain records for as long as reasonably needed to support your warranty period (typically 5+ years) and to meet tax and consumer-law record-keeping obligations.

4. Third parties we share with

Personal information is only shared with:

  • Resend — to deliver your enquiry email to our inbox.
  • PostHog — anonymous, aggregated website analytics (page views, referrer, device type). PostHog does not receive form-submitted data such as your name, email or phone number.
  • Our accountant and tax agent — as required to prepare and lodge BAS and income-tax returns.

We do not share your information with any marketing, advertising or lead-generation service.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of first-party cookies to remember basic preferences (such as a dismissed banner) and PostHog cookies to measure anonymous traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but some preferences won’t be remembered between visits.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • correct any information that is wrong
  • delete information that we no longer need to keep
